I just saw that you did the One Word thing today! Cool!
Are you still interested in giving toys to anysoldier?
I haven't followed up with that, but I will if you want.
see you around.

Subject beefage in the spring
Hi Tracy, how are you?
I noticed you commented on Tim's post about the big donation TRUE's buddy got us for the Kevlar fund, so now I know you read it!
I am so proud of him. Inviting him to write for Bring the Beef was my best contribution to that site.
Anyway....not to nag, but what can I do to help you secure a donation to anysoldier.com? I have this idea that once we get a few sizable donations, I'm going to write a press release and make some links on other biggee sites. I want to make you a star, baby....or, at least your company. I wouldn't name names.
I am so sick and tired of thinking about all this. I wish the war was over and your brother and everyone else could stay home and watch porn and eat ice cream, but until then......
thanks for listening, hope to hear from you ,
Sierra

Hi You!
I know I've been a slacker on this, but I just put together a box with 55 little puppies and bears. Most of the puppies make barking sounds when squeezed. I figured it would be easier to give one small box with lots of little things, then a big box with not as many larger things. Plus, from what the site says, it's better to send more manageable cartons.
Can you confirm that this is where I"m sending it:
MSgt Jacob H Verhoeff
Attn: Any Airman
407 AEG/ELRS/PAX
APO AE 09331
(Use address exactly as shown.) (5) Airman's Title: Shift Supervisor
Added here: 09 February 2005
Where in Iraq: South of Baghdad (1)
Contact for approx number of Males: 110 (2)
Contact for approx number of Females: 24 (2)
Expected to leave Iraq: 18 Jun 2005 (3)
(Airman will be dropped 30 days before above date.)
Restrictions to this address: Here (4)
If so, I'll get the paperwork going so I can ship it out. I'll probably include a little letter.
in terms of credit, I'd rather you just link me and not the company.
Thanks for not giving up on me,
Tracy

Hey, 'me',
Announce it however you like, girlie, you earned it!
I just looked back at the shipping information again, and it looks current. Just make sure that you use the address that's up THE DAY you ship.
The Custom Form required is no big deal either. The guy at Mail Boxes Etc. did mine for me, since that particular shop is an official AnySoldier collection center. It's really no big deal though.
Let me know where I can reach you to kick in for the shipping and insurance....I remember it being required if the shipment is valued over a hundred dollars, and that can really add up.
Ooh, I'm getting tingly.

This morning, I read this -
Prisoners at Abu Ghirab included children
"He told me he was almost 12," Karpinski said. "He told me his brother was there with him, but he really wanted to see his mother, could he please call his mother. He was crying."
Then I saw this picture of a five-year old Agent Orange victim ....one of dozens born with no arms, eyes, or brains.
Then two ducks landed on my pool for the first time since last spring.
Then, this.
