Is everyone excited about what's been happening here?

Who else is excited and broke?

I just emailed one of my friends who was in the Guard (10/2003-06/2004:Tikrit and Afghanistan), and asked her to put a link to us on her business web page.

She checked out the archives (don't you love new readers who read all the archives? )
and then gave me some advice.

"I figure you have spent about three hours a day online, average, reading and commenting on blogs.

Why don't you donate that time to writing letters to soldiers instead of writing about them, if you're so tired of doing that?"

So I'm going to.

Reservist Friend isn't the only one who has told me how precious mail is to a service person away from home.

It's one of the best things we can give.

So right now, Lt. Mike Hotel , at my request, is coming up with some highly subjective suggestions on how to write a 'support and encouragement' letter.

And I am getting my head out of the comments glue-bag for awhile.

Q- Can I just send letters? How do I and what should I say?

A- There is not one thing on this site, or anywhere, that requires you to send stuff. Letters are THE MOST requested thing by these soldiers. So, all you need do is send a normal letter in a normal envelope with a normal stamp.

You don't need money to give.
