" Americans are numb to everyone's pain but our own"

TRUE is right. So is Sterling.

So everybody sit and watch and wait to see who gets dropped.

I missed the fight, what happened.

Because that's what we do, right? We watch other people have our vicarious experiences for us. We watch bachelors and apprentices and idols and icons.
No- we let other people ( i.e., television writers and news anchors) do our watching for us, and watch what pleases our eyes.

We don't like to see things that disturb us. No normal person wants to go out of their way to find disturbing truths.

That's why I can't do it for you like I used to.

Let me break it down for you-

Falluja is nothing short of mass murder.

It is being done in your name.

Try burying that under Thanksgiving Weekend Sales at Mall-Rat.Ignore that stench when you try to enjoy a new porn download.

We can't let other people do our watching for us anymore.

And, I think TRUE was right, but I agree more with Sterling.

It is okay to be happy. No, it is fundamental.

Happiness, like democracy, is dependent on consciousness.

Wake up muggles.

Consciousness is a duty. Once you experience it, it is a habit.

We can't let ourselves be ignorant. Not in the age of the internet.

You don't need me to tell you this.

But you can shoot the messenger. Only it's not going to be just me anymore.

It's your turn.

Ignore the uncensored news, and you are confirming that this....handsome, white, young, iconic

and not this

is the 'face of Fallujah' that deserves to be seen.
